The Palestinian Authority “PA” covered up the news that on last Friday 20 November 2009, the Israelis arrested five senior Palestinian intelligence officers near the town of Salfit in the north of the West Bank which is under it’s power, among them the regional intelligence commander for Salfit, Mohammad Abdel Hamid. The Palestinian Authority also hushed up the fresh news of the Israeli arrest on Nov. 21 2009 of three Palestinian security officers in the north-east of Qalqilya in the West Bank. The detainees are Ayoub Mohammed Khaled and Mohammad Fayez Shamasneh, from the PA national security forces, and Anwar Aziz Mustafa, from the military police, and two members of Fatah, Jihad Abdel-Halim Shamasneh and Nour Aziz Beda.

According Palestinian eyewitnesses, these persons did not defend themselves during the arrest by Israeli occupation soldiers.

Military sources said that the Palestinian National Authority forbids their Israeli sodlers beatinf a Palestinian Police.security elements from using their weapons in self defense when they are arrested or mistreated by the israelis, or when these invaders assault and ransack Palestinian towns or cities. The sources confirmed that the Palestinian security forces are controlled by the PA agreements which they signed with Israel, which forbid the PA from using their weapons against Israel.

Today, at late time, the Palestinian Authority confirmed the arrest of their forces and claimed that Israel released the five officers of the General Intelligence Service.

The PA claimed that the arrest of its officer was the first time in about three years and that they were apparently made on the backdrop of an investigation being carried out by the General Intelligence Service against a Palestinian who is suspected of collaborating with Israel. According to the same news, talks and meetings were being hold between the PA and Israel in efforts to release the Palestinian security officers.

Contradicting Palestinian sources revealed additional details about the Arrestcircumstances of the Palestinian officer’s arrest. According to these news, US general Keith Dayton was  personally involved in passing security information to Israel which led to the arrest of the Palestinian officers. The sources condemned the farce of the traitorous PA regime in dealing with the Israeli occupation and the lack of will and ability to protect the Palestinian people and its forces.

  1. The Palestinian Authority as envisioned by the late Arafat, including its Security Forces is an extension of the Israeli/Jewish Occupation under the Oslo contract. Even when Arafat was alive, his security forces did all the bidding for Israel as was clear from the conduct of both the Preventive Security Forces in Gaza and in the West Bank. Arafat was the Palestinian version of Bashir Jumail, the assassinated Lebanese president. Why are we surprised when this cooperation existed since Oslo? Under Oslo, Israel allowed Fatah and the PLO to raise money from donors to cover the expenses of the Occupation and of course with the added benefits of filling the pockets and bank accounts of the leadership. Certainly we are a people who lost it all… No more sense of shame or sense of dignity. Few days ago Rafiq Al-Hussaini from Abbas’s office warmly embrace Livni, the butcher of Gaza in front of cameras and the world, confirming what we all know, the full cooperation and cheer leading role played by Ramallah during the War on Gaza. Mahmoud Abbas could not find any thing to talk about except Hamas and its take over of Gaza. They don’t care about Gaza; all they care about is the money they lost when they lost Gaza. Great 45 years of PLO.

  2. Re: The rise and fall' of the Mahmoud Abbas puppet.

It's good to see the PA exert its independence from the Jewish rats, like a big bowl of 'yellow-streak-down-their-back;, Jell-O.

Now perhaps the Palestinian people will reaize that Mahmoud Abbas has never been more then the US/Israel 'homicide twins' – 'Sherriff of Knottingham,' there only to keep the Palestinian people in line with the desires of the Jewish occupation killers. During the massacres of Palestinian innocents last winter in Gaza, 'not a peep' from the West Bank Palestinian Authority as Abbas didn't want to lose out in the the bid for a new cellular telephone company for the West Bank (A Jewish carrot that was being held out to him for services rendered) that would have allowed him to siphon off millions more into his Swiss, Cayman Islands, accounts.

Whether it was a fact or merely a political ploy that he wasn't going to run in the coming Palestinian elections, with the latest 'show of cowardness' towards Israel's IDF, the old fart has cemented the idea in the minds of all nationalist Palestinians that continue to work for a united and 'free' Palestine – Abbas must go!

Yassar, you are 'toast' Messer Abbas!

  3. Personally, I think and believe there are enough valid and substantiated charges that can stand in a court of law to bring against the Palestinian leadership of Arafat, Abbas, Qurai that has to do with malfeasance and misfeasance, corruptions, collusion with the enemy and to bring other charges against the entire PLO and Fatah leadership for abuse of power, fleecing the treasury, corruption and mismanagement. No one should simply walk away. They should be brought to trial. This leadership should not go and simply retire to manage its hundreds of millions, but should spend the rest of its life in jail for the crimes it committed against the Palestinian people, before Oslo, during Oslo and after Oslo.
