Israel does what it does because it has ZERO accountability and ZERO cdonsequences for its actions. If other countries do what is considered by international standards – the wrong thing, they are condemned, or have sanctions placed on them or get diplomatic or economic benefits cut. Israel can go out and slaughter 1300 Palestinians and the aid and money and praise just keeps coming in.

In 2006 the handicapped bell ringer was murdered by an IDF sniper as he rung the church bells in Bethlehem and then they shot up the interior of the church causing thousands of dollars in damages. Meanwhile, the US and world media 'Like good little church mice – 'Not even a squeek.'

As for the US being 'incapable' of keeping Israel within the parameters of International law. The simple truth is that, with an AIPAC/ZOA owned and operated US 'Knesset', it is 'unconcerned' about making Israel do anyhing it doesn't want to do. Conversely, If the US cut off military/economic aid to Israel, even for a week, we would find 'great changes' occurring in that 1/2 acre of Zionist hell.

For that matter, if the Arabs shut off the spigots to their oil wells 'even for another day' the Jews would find it very convincing that they had to 'heel' to world demands. Of course the Arabs, with all that power, (like a horse that could never be ridden if it realized its power) equivocate instead of dominate their Middle Eastern environment – Oh well!
