i do n't even read uncle sam's mind let alone obama's. And i see obama as manager of the ruling class' affairs. Obama, clinton, bush, et al are programmed to merely tactically manage the longstanding US domestic and foreign policies.

the strategy had been the same. Bombings of hiroshima and nagasaki and about 180 wars uncle had to date waged proves that US wants to grab as much of the planet by any means whatsover; includes use of wmd.

newly acquired lands can be controled with a mix of [in]direct control; i.e., via puppetization or bases.
what US conquers can be reversed only thru war.
waging war against what US and the west had gained in expalestine wld amount to a grave and futile error.

the fact that bi-, tri-, quatronat'l entities are disfunctional and can be maintained only by military means and oppression, bodes unwell for iraq, afpak, iran, and palestine.

disfunctional and evil empires such as iran, iraq, afgh'n, israel, pak'n are easy pray for any strong evil empire.
Eg., US had lost only about 5,000 soldiers, but had gained so much. This, to me, is a 'brilliant' success!
does one really think US ruling class wld not sacrifice another 100K [wo]men for important real estate?

what's a soldier to rich americans? A tool, machine, paid mercenary?!
it shld be noted that the theft of land since '67 is an act of war. Thus, only warfare can rectify the situation!
tnx

I couldn't agree with you more, Sami.

The USA has as its "national interests" the policy of maintaining the Jewish Occupation of Palestine forever, cost what it may. That will not change any time soon. Obama didn't utter a word during the war this winter, he actually went to say later that Palestinians are the ones who must renounce violence.... It's not going to change until this kind of thing is exposed for what it is.

Especially worrying is that many of those who supported him are not willing to confront him on this or any other thing. The 100 days last an eternity..

Also totally agree with the 100% esteem of Khalid. Brave, talented, honest. He is a true role model for me in every way.

I am surprised that Khalid Amayreh harbours the notion that US presidents may have a say in matters affecting the usurpation of Palestine or dare adopt a policy that has not been formulated by the Zionists! The only thing which may differ from president to another is the style and method of delivery. The present incumbent at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave was chosen because of his middle name which sounds attractive to the unenlightened in the Muslim world. He actually tried to get a lot of mileage on that account when he delivered his infamous speech in Cairo not long ago.
Going back to the question posed by Khalid, what if...? The plain answer is nothing changes! It wil continue to be business as usual so long as the dormant gentle American giant is blissfully in a state of induced deep slumber, unaware of what really goes on in his or her own backyard!
The above should in no way be interpreted as a snipe at Khalid for whom I have always held the greatest admiration and highest respect.
