In my view an imperialist project would see the US intimately aligned with Saudi Arabia above all, and zero aid to Israel. Israel's aggressions would be harshly condemned by the US and it would indeed be threatened with US military action. Of what value is Israel to the West? Zip. Iran could be a lucrative export market (a dream come true for Boeing and Siemens). Egypt would be ripe for labor exploitation, offshoring jobs from Europe and the US (who needs India?). Libya a grand arms customer (unlike Israel they would actually pay for the weapons). All sacrificed for Jewish supremacist interests.

One keeps hearing this tired, worn out mantra from the cold war era. Why is it that none of the proponents of this nonsense can identify exactly what it is that Israel has ever done for US hegemony? How exactly do Jewish only settlements serve US imperial interests? Why would the US want destabilisation of a region upon which Western economies depend for a stable supply of oil? Multinational corporations generally prefer stability and order coupled with powerful central government, this is entirely contrary to the Zionist goal of fractured disorganised statelets which cannot resist Israeli aggression. Which model is being pursued?
