Thanks for this I too support One-state as Ali Abunimah and many others like Omar Barghouti and many more know. On my 3rd trip to Palestine where I was based at Beit Sahour all those we heard were fed up of walls between Palestinian people apart from the Green line not observed by Israelis anyway as abominable and hideous. of course, all walls must crumble had this Abu Mazen had any sense of negotiating with his Israeli friends. But who says he ever had any sense?

I think that God chose well when he chose the Jews to proclaim His Oneness. From small localized tribes the word was spread from Persia to Rome. Belief in the One God is embraced by more than half the world. Seems to me they've done a good job and we should be a little more grateful. The Kuran tells us that God gave the land to Israel. Why are we so opposed?

Mazen enjoy Pittsburgh, I know couple of people who are also guests of the conference. I always wondered what is the use of attending and sharing conferences with Jews, especially North American Jews who always make excuses for the occupation and who for the most part fund and man the Occupation and the Settlements. Personally I do not see any hope for peace with the Israeli and Palestinian leadership we have now. The Israelis are simply out in cyber space believing that Iran is the issue not the Occupation or the Settlements and who believe that natural growth is only for Jews but not for the others and who simply never abandoned the idea of a “people without land for land without people”. The present Palestinian leadership of the PLO is rotten and corrupt to the core, incompetent, bunch of thugs and bunch of thieves, and does not represent any one and is so reckless and irresponsible it should be put on trial. It is the Oslo Team of Arafat, Abbas and Qurai who are the fathers, the mothers and godfathers of the Israeli Jewish Settlements. They and only they are the one that gave legitimacy to the Israeli Occupation, relieving Israel from its legal and financial obligation as an occupying power. Under Oslo Israel was relieved of such a burdens passing the obligations to the PLO and the Palestinian Authority, which in fact is the Israeli Civil Occupation Authority with the leadership enjoying a financial windfall from the continued Occupation. Arafat and his Oslo Team gave full recognition to Israel and its Occupation in exchange for Israel recognizing the PLO as the sole and legitimate representative of the Palestinian people (TOZ). Arafat did this to undercut the challenge from Hamas that was challenging the PLO for leadership. The only hope for Israelis and the Palestinians is one state, and I will be the first one to vote for an Israeli Jew before I vote for the leadership in Ramallah. At least Israel sends its corrupt politicians and ministers to jail, unlike the Palestinian leadership that sends its thieves to lucrative assignments abroad. I always stated that the American Jewish community and leadership are the obstacle to peace and I did not changed my mind even with JStreet. As for the Jews as the Chosen Ones, I think that God was desperate in his first attempt to have people, believe in His oneness. It would be interesting to take this to US Federal Courts and see if the Jews by divine rights have the rights to steal, rob and confiscate Palestinian properties and land with claims of ownership, simply because they are Jews? I could imagine God on the witness stand.
