Mary:
It is amazing what one discovers on re-reading what one wrote! I just read my own contribution above and detected a number of typographical errors!

I made an error by saying that the torpedo tubes had been enlarged BY 25 inches. I should have used the word TO.

The four larger 25.5 inch diameter torpedo tubes could be used to launch a long-range nuclear-capable submarine-launched cruise missile (SLCM). According to some reports the submarines may be capable of carrying nuclear-armed Popeye Turbo cruise missiles, with a goal of deterring an enemy from trying to take out its nuclear weapons with a surprise attack.'

It is interesting that it is alleged that these German built submarines (link below) have had their torpedo tubes enlarged. by 25 inches and it was surmised that this made them 'nuclear missile capable'.

I had read that Israel had 2 Dolfin class submarines - built in Germany and that one was given by that dutifully pro-Zionist state. In fact they have 3. You will see on the sub-link that the missile testing was tested off Sri Lanka so Egypt allowed the use of the Suez canal - of course.

Are these maniacs ready to light the torch?

What a load of bullsh*t. Whilst Iran has, of course, its own interests at heart, it has never threatened to wipe IsraHell off the map or threatened any Arab Guld country. The occupation of the some islands in the Gulf is a disputed with the UAE. Iran does resent Arab subservience to Zionism and that is an honourable stand.

joelsk44039:

I disagree with your assertion on "isreal threatens no country". Israel does threaten countries who side with the palestinians as can be easily proven by their huge "Star of David" idol in front of a palestinian mosque in Guatemala city. You can think that Israel does not threaten countries all you want but, in fact, Israel does using tacit or implicit means to accomplish this. This is just one example and there may be many others. One example may not be enough for you. Its not my job to convince you.

Only difference between Iran and Israel is that Iran has threatened to wipe Israel off the map. Additionally, Iran has threatened Saudi Arabia, the Emirates and other Arab states in the region. Iran is ruled by an aggressive, evil group of clerics. Israel threatens no country.
