It is very clear that the Israel government actions whether it is transfer or ethnic cleansing of Palestinians (Christians and Muslims) from Jerusalem or destructions of their homes and properties have ideological, religious and theological basis and it is part of a prevailing Israeli culture and value system, that has nothing but destain and contempt for Arabs. Rabbi Meir Khane proposed the “extermination of the Arabs as surest way to bring about True Redemption of Jews" calling on Jews not to fear Gentile but to fear God as they “go about expelling all Arabs from the land of Israel”. Rabbi Elieser Waldenberg, the winner of the 1976 Israeli Prize was quoted in Haaretz May 9, 1967 as saying that if the Jewish State is to follow the Covenant with God, “it must expel all non Jews from Jerusalem; in like manner it is forbidden to us to permit non-Jews to be a majority in any cities among the cities of Israel” . The Israeli policies of denying residency permits to Palestinians or demolition of homes has nothing to do with absentee laws, or violations of building codes, with any laws but the laws of God.

"“Palestine is a country without a people; the Jews are a people without a country”"

This was coined by 19th century Christian writer unrelated to Zionism. And this phrase contradictions your earlier statement. If Zionist talked about a land with no people, why are there many other quotes where they do talk about the Arabs living there?

Since Joseph Weitz is a seconadry figure in Zionism,( how many Jews ever heard of him?) I'll give you a quote from a major Zionist figure.

Ben Gurion:
"We do not want and do not need to expel Arabs and take their places. Our whole desire is based on the assumption --- which has been collaborated [sic] in the course of all our activity in the country -- that there is enough room for us and the Arabs in the country and that if we have to use force - not in order to dispossess the Arabs from the Negev or Transjordan but in order to assure ourselves of the right, which is our due to settle there- then we have the force."

“A passionate attachment of one nation for another produces a variety of evils. Sympathy for the favorite nation, facilitating the illusion of an imaginary common interest in cases where no real common interest exists, and infusing into one the enmities of the other, betrays the former into a participation in the quarrels and wars of the latter without adequate inducement or justification.” ~George Washington, ~page 269 of The 5000 Year Leap.

“The nation which indulges toward another habitual hatred or habitual fondness is in some degree a slave. It is a slave to its animosity or to its affection, either of which is sufficient to lead it astray from its duty and its interests." ~ George Washington

"Peace, commerce and honest friendship with all nations; entangling alliances with none." ~ Thomas Jefferson

Reham. Salam. I very much enjoyed your article and what you say rings the truth. However I think that our message to the world should be “Jerusalem For All” and why not. I never liked a divided Jerusalem when it was under Jordan control, I don’t like a divided Jerusalem under Israel. What we, the Palestinians, the Israelis, the Arabs, the Jews, the Christians we need is an open united Jerusalem For All. I hope that there will be a world conference in Washington, in front of the US Congress, where people and leaders from around the world meet, call and demand a united, open and a Jerusalem For All. I think that the Israelis on their own are simply unfit to manage the city, the same is true of the Palestinian leadership which never gave Jerusalem the importance and the priorities, and as such I think the present Israeli and Palestinian leadership on their own are simply unfit and unqualified to manage an open, unified and Jerusalem For All.
