I agree with shaukat. I'm deeply frustrated and angered by the continuous suffering of the Palestinians whether it is in Palestine, Lebanon, Iraq, etc. for more than 60 years. I'm also ashamed that they were dealt with this way in Naher AlBared there are no excuses for this, though looking at the history of the security problems with camps, not the people's fault of course, but those factions who maybe allowed fateh alislam in and helped them. In addition with the some Lebanese political factions who helped fateh alislam. This is what makes it frustrating that the ones responsible are off the hook and the people continue to suffer.

I disagree with the writer about the resistance media (I know who she meant) that they didn't focus on the issue for election purposes that is incorrect and taking the issue out of context. The complexity of the issue is about many things with the crazy political scene in Lebanon for the past few years and not because of the elections. This resistance media along with who owns it has helped the Palestinians far more times than anyone can count, and they are not mentioned in the media because they don't need to be. Second, they won't lose any seats because the people who vote for them will vote for a millions reasons other than them not speaking about the army and some unacceptable behavior from some soldiers and they have in the past if you know some things in Lebanon remember mar imkhayil incident.

Today's political scene in Lebanon doesn't even allow to show some fist fights between factions in the media fearing the worse and I would think it came in that context.

Excuse the long post, just needed to clarify, thanks.

What happened to US$270 million the American puppet prime minister Fouad Siniora received from Washington after the carnage?

The Fatah al-Islam did not represented Palestinian refugees. The group was financed by Suadis and their leaders used to live in posh hotels in Tripoli. The group was used to create a Shia-Sunni sectarian war in Lebanon and draw Hizb'Allah into the conflict for the benefit of USrael. The group's members cane from Saudi arabia, Jordan and Egypt. It was another Palestinian tragedy carried out by the arab leaders who don't want to see the Islamic resistance in both Lebanon and Palestine to humiliate the West's Zionist bully.
