I was horrified upon reading this article. James Zogby, who almost always speaks up for the Palestinians, can it be true that he so staunchly defended that smug, unappetizing bully? Is he delusional or has he been persuaded that it would be in his best interests to kiss the dust before the Zionists? What makes that lobby so powerful? I do not want to live in a country that is so firmly trapped by one special religious group. Where is the separation of Church and State (maybe Synagoue is exempt? Is our country a union of Synagogue and State?)? The worst part of it is that the United States is condoning the grossest injustices and atrocities to a native population at a time when colonisation and ethnic cleansing are supposed to be outlawed. Something must be done to rescue America.
