Dear friends, colleagues, brothers and sisters all over the globe.
I would like to thank each and everyone of you for your solidarity during my short but difficult ordeal. I am quite certain that had it not been for the public and media pressure on the PA, I would have been kept in that dark cell for many more weeks or months.
My brief incarceration was meant to make me exercise "self-censorship" and refrain from calling things by their real names. But, Nay, this I will never do.

Dear Friends,
Good news received minutes ago. A call back from outstanding NY CPJ rep who took my request for help on behalf of Prof Khalid Amayreh who was held in detention. Minutes ago Muhamed called to inform us that Khalid had been released.
All details pending. Khalid may release a report on this latest experience with PA "security/justice" system.
Apparently journalists continue being arrested, detained, and tortured for speaking about 'forbidden' issues by
PA goon squad who work indirectly for the occupiers.

I would like to add something here. Khalid is a dear friend and brother. I am afraid that things may not be all well, and I say this because I had sent him a message, which in many years of communication, for the first time bounced back to me twice.
My question is: have they inserted spyware or taken his materials and communications instruments?
I said this to Steve of Desert Peace, and repeat here: we need to find a better support system for this man, as he and his family are at great risk and no one knows when they will strike him again. Ideas?

Oh, Abas Preventive Security Forces look so menacing and so professionals I wonder why they are unable or unwilling to protect the Palestinians from the daily Pogroms of Jewish Settlers in Hebron. Or why they are unable to protect Palestinian citizens and their properties from daily attacks by the Israeli Army? But then the Preventive Security Forces from the days of Arafat was and is to protect the Occupation and protect the partners of the Occupation, the Palestinian Authority. Would any one think for a moment that America will train and fund any Palestinian Security whose mission is to protect the people from the Occupation?
Find a way of unity, I pray. It is the only way. You are brothers.

Palestinian Authority security arrested the Palestinian well known journalist and thinker, Khaled Al-Amayrah, for unknown reasons, but what is known is that Amayrah is an able journalist, he usually writes in English in many international information media, it is known that he is an observing Islamist, and professional journalist of high caliber, with high moral and deals with people with respect.
Amayrah is a strong defendant of Palestinian resistance in particular and Arab resistance as a whole, he opposes the recognition of Israel, condemns dealing with it and opposes the Arab security coordination with the Zionist entity as practiced by the Palestinian Authority. His writings had a great effect in explaining the Palestinian cause, and exposes the Zionist atrocities practiced against Palestinians in particular and the Arabs people in general.
It is a sign of the decaying of the Palestinian Authority in arresting Mr. Amayrah especially when the Palestinian Arab people are celebrating the steadfastness of Palestinian resistance in the face of the deadly Zionist military machine. This is as if the Palestinian authority rejects this great great military achievement on Palestinian soil for the first time on Palestinian Arab land against the savage occupier.
The Arab Palestinian people is in a historic stage after the war the Zionist enemy waged on the Gaza Strip, and we don’t believe that it wise to continue with the practices of the past.
