This post was sent directly to me by two of the persons listed on this email and I imagine it is that they too wish to disseminate the information. In fact, you seem to ask for anyone with information to make you aware of it. Why would you want to take that off of a site that has readership in the thousands each day and subscriptions for RSS and digests that are also numerous, not to mention, other sites link, feed and publish from ours.
Please tell me what the reason is, I am curious to know.

So, I had replaced it with information from the other person asking for it to be urgently disseminated to media outlets.
He too thinks this site is unfitting to his noble purpose, which some of us have yet to figure out completely. Smearing me privately, while asking my source to make sure I still got the news out… well… he will not make up his mind, so those who have the digest and the sites that have printed this information will see what it was. I have obeyed the ORDERS of these people, so you will have to imagine for yourselves based on the photo what is going on, or look elsewhere, if they had better luck getting the item distributed.
They are smashing the unity of action, not us. I hope they come to realise this by censoring their own information.

The Nakba: an historical event or a continuing political process?
The nakba is commonly perceived around the world and even, unfortunately, by palestinians themselves, as a discrete historical event which happened in the late 1940s when jewish terrorists established a zionist state in palestine. However, looking back at what has transpired in palestine over the last six decades, it would be more accurate to describe the nakba as an ongoing political process in which the racist state has continually implemented its policy of ethnically cleansing and moved ever closer to its long term goal of becoming a jews-only state.

First of all we have fantastic news that the Egyptian soldiers stopped erecting any more tents! The Red Cross and other aid organisations are now allowed into the Al Sokhar neighbourhood and the surrounding Israeli tanks have moved away.
Since the news broke up on Saturday evening, the Egyptian soldiers have not erected a single tent! Without sufficient number of tents they can't do the transfer under disguise of a humanitarian relief. We have succeeded in foiling the transfer this time round, but that won’t deter Israel to try again.
Some media seen the tents. Clearly, the story has got back to the Egyptian military, as the soldiers now say they are not allowed to talk about the tents.
I believe the medics have more photos [don't know if they contain images of Egyptian soldiers], which they might agree to give to journalists. I'll check if other photos are available if you know of journalists who might still be interested in this story [even though the window of opportunity for Israel to implement its transfer plan is now closed]. Please let me know. It should be noted, the photos were taken in circumstances that they had to hide it from the soldiers.
One problem is, once a photo was disseminated round the web, the media would be less keen to use it [no longer exclusive], so I don't think it would help to disseminate the other photos. In my view in such circumstances, it would have been better to forward photos only to individual journalists who appear to pick up the story.

Prof. As'ad AbuKhalil has a picture up which shows a row of big tents set up on the Egyptian side of the Gaza border and asks.

What would be the consequences of such very dirty 'cleansing'?
I did not receive any direct information re other camps being set up, in el-Arish and other locations. It would be very important to find this out, as if indeed other camps were set up, that would show a plan to a transfer hundreds of thousands [not dozens of thousands, which I estimated on the basis of a single camp of 5000 tents]. I doubt journalists would pursue such story of empty camps of tents scattered in Sinai. It requires human rights activist/worker to investigate this. The more we find out now the more likely we are to foil Israel’s next attempt to transfer Palestinians out of Gaza into Egypt. The speed of our response is crucial and would be partially determined by how much knowledge we have before it starts.
There are lots of other issues, one of them is the food rationing in Gaza has gone down and even less food is allowed in.

I have been thinking about this since the Gaza onslaught started, but the question that comes to my mind is – how much money is the US going to have to pay to Mubarak to let the Palestinians into Egypt?
He will never let them mix with the Egyptian popualtion. He is already in trouble thanks to Egyptians that demand democratic elections and vote for the Muslim Brotherhood. He will see the Palestinians as a dangerous radical group that further threatens his hold on power.
It is unfortunate, but I wager that the will be held in a permanent refugee camp as they were in Lebanon.

Gilad, apparently she has done some things, as some people have told me.
The problem here is not that she is some unknown who then makes demands, the problem is that the information, which supposedly was quite important, and if true, is very important indeed, was sent by her to whoever her contacts are. I happen to have a few of them as contacts, who also support this site fully and one even founded Tlaxcala with me! So, naturally, I put it up and to then be DEMANDED to take it down, without explanation, well, that is odd to put it mildly.
So, the e you see above which I sent was given an answer to yet ANOTHER person, (not me… seems as if she needs an amaneuse) which was just take it down, i don't want to be associated with that site…
So, taken down HER part, it was, at the risk of losing the information, which apparently isn't that important to her after all?
I have stopped trying to figure these characters out, because they act like this then say WE are the ones "dividing the movement". Weird and very unreliable folks and I would warn anyone taking her seriously if this is the example of what happens when one disseminates to their trusted affiliates the material she sends. They have to play tag all day with her. Ridiculous.
Yael, forgive me but you sound ever so slightly hysterical. Personally, I have always found that the process of debating, demanding, negotiating is often far more effective if you present a logical framework, commonly known as ‘an argument’.

I didn't even publish one, so please tell me what you are on about! What is your problem with PTT, and be specific. Evidently, AJ and Ernesto feel it is a more than valid source. You did not have the decency to tell me directly what the problem was, but sent an E to AJ, who kindly forwarded it to me, so that at least I knew where your complaining was coming from, albeit, with no explanation for your smears. Why not ask them to publicly state what they think of PTT. It is a site that is very much welcomed and respected by all but a handful of smear artists and Zionists. Which one are you?
Try to concentrate on doing good for the people in Gaza who are suffering, and less about smearing others with your ridiculous games.

I reiterate my request that you remove my private email to Arlo / Andrew, which was posted on January 19th, 2009 at 2:47 on your website without my consent or knowledge. When I wrote to him I did not know he was associated with the PTT website.
Ms Kahn, I hope you are able to rationally see what is before your eyes. Andrew posted your "private email" in a comment. Since I do NOT delete comments others make because third parties demand it, and I have clearly stated that you have to ask the person who left the comment to fulfil your request and to ask me to please remove the comment, it will remain as it is until you have acted in a way that is correct to both Andrew and myself. Perhaps it is wrong for PTT to be associated with YOU, have you not thought of this?
Perhaps also you should contemplate another fact: the information was barely disseminated at all, and where it was, you ask it be removed or the source to be taken away, albeit your comrade wanted HIS name removed, but the information to still be disseminated here? A bit inconsistent, and furthermore, one wonders several things:
1) if indeed you are looking to eliminate your names becuase the information is false?
2) if you do not care enough about the information and would rather engage in some ridiculous game of smearing that none of us here are able to understand.
at any rate, you damage your own credibility and the questions remain intact.
