The U.S. based oil and gas companies want control of the reserves in the gulf and Caspian regions and the pipeline routes from those regions. They need to dominate Iran, but they can't even beat Hamas. They will use nuclear weapons on Iran if they have to. Meanwhile the energy they covet is being wasted by their system of private autos.

As Churchill once said in world war 2 this is not the end nor is it the beginning but it is the end of the beggining. Power to the Palistinians and to the Arab street, if I was young enough I would be proud to fight along side these immensly brave people in Gaza.

There was a terrible mistake in 1948, by giving palestine to the Yews by worldcommunity,and they called it Israel. But Israel has proved now enough of his Godschoosenhood,… and now we all see the mercyless outcome in Gaza. Lebensraum- EretzJisrael, der uebermensch or Gods Choosen?, there is no difference.First we have to dismantle their army , and stop the knesset,and inprisson their warcriminals.Then we have to invite all the palestinians to go back to their own land.And palestina is palestine again, only with the horrible remembering of his israel time( the dark ages).And this time is over,very soon. Israel is just a name of the very passt of the Old Testament,and 2000 years later it does not work anymore.It is proven now.Paul van den akkerN.L.

Miron you remind President-elect, Barack Obama's idiotic remark during his meet-the-press on weekend – when he said: "If someone fire rockets on my house where my two daughters are sleeping, I will make sure to do everything possible to stop it."

Now, I bet his lawyer wife could enlighten him that the "someone" would not have fired a rocket on their house – had the house not built on a stolen land."

As your advice about a map – I just opened my 1947 World Map – and guess what – There is a country named Palestine – but NO country named Israel shown!!
