Kawthar. Salam… I think by now, all Palestinians should understand that Oslo was nothing more than a business transaction between the Jewish State and Arafat PLO/Fatah whereby Arafat and his PLO/Fatah became a subcontractors for the Israel Jewish Occupation. Under Oslo the PLO took on all of the responsibilities for the civil administration from the Jewish Army as such all of the costs for maintaining the Jewish Occupation shifted to the PLO/Fatah, thus saving Israel some $2.5 billions it used to cost Israel to maintain education, health and social services and transport. Israel then arranged for the US, Europe and the Arabs to fund the occupation via the PLO. In fact after the US, the PLO is the largest financial contributor to the Jewish Occupation. The PA Security Forces mission is not to protect the people and citizen from the IDF or criminal settlers, their mission is to protect, support the PA as a subcontractor for the occupation and of course to protect the occupation. We have seen this in Hebron and in Nablus. The PA Security Forces where no where to be seen when the criminal settlers went on rampage in Hebron and the PA Security Forces where no where when the IDF enters Nablus and destroy every thing on a daily basis. Sad to say the PA Security Forces should be seen as part of the occupation. So attacking demonstrators is part of their mission.

The conclusive solution to silence radical Palestinian groups will be to establish an international military force to police Gaza and the West Bank headed by a contagion of forces from the more secular Arab countries to ensure the smooth transition to a strong Palestinian state. If there is a well crafted plan to create a Palestinian state, I think most of the Arab countries will readily send troops to help develop a viable Palestinian state.

A peaceful Middle East will definitely have a lot of ramifications. A peaceful Middle East will stem the tide and accelerate a decline in radical Islam. There is no greater hope than that the Israelis and Palestinians get tired of their tortuous past full of wars then sit down and work towards a peaceful Middle East.
