Livni fantasises about MORE Arab expulsion, in reality, this is a crime against humanity

Israeli Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni, a frontrunner in the race to become premier, said on Thursday that Arab Israelis should move to a Palestinian state when it is eventually created.

"My solution for maintaining a Jewish and democratic state of Israel is to have two distinct national entities," she told a group of secondary school students in Tel Aviv in remarks broadcast by army radio.

"And among other things I will also be able to approach the Palestinian residents of Israel, those whom we call Arab Israelis, and tell them: 'your national aspirations lie elsewhere.'"

The remarks drew an angry rebuttal from Arab Israeli MP Ahmed Tibi.

"She must decide whether she means to leave a million Arabs without political rights or a national identity, or whether she really intends to transfer a million Arab citizens to the Palestinian state that will be established," he said.

"Livni must be straightforward and open as is appropriate for someone running for prime minister," Tibi told army radio.

Livni leads the centrist Kadima party. She is in a close race with former premier Benjamin Netanyahu of the right-wing Likud party ahead of legislative elections set for February 10.

The polls were called after Prime Minister Ehud Olmert resigned over a series of graft scandals.

The 1.4-million-strong Arab-Israeli community makes up about 20 percent of the Jewish state's population, and consists of the descendants of the 160,000 Palestinians who remained on their land after the creation of Israel in 1948.

  1. This is further evidence that differences between different Zionist political parties or schools of thought are superficial; in reality, they all share the same exterminationist ideology.

  2. OH come on tipsy say it like it really is………..
You want to ethnically cleanse the so called "State of Israel " of all people of Arab ethnicity….

  3. I have to add….. when she is finished ethnically cleansing the arabs who will she start on next??A religious cleansing I think..out go the Christians…..

  4. It is indeed incredible. And this, just days after Israel got the EU upgrade that is an enormous step to normalisation. How in the world can there be normalisation with a state where it is "normal" to talk about deportation?! And this is the "centrist" party. It of course knows which side of the bread the jam is going, and it's with that racist ticket. Hatred of Arabs, hatred of the sign, day and night, that there were people there before '48, and buildings they built, and trees that they planted and businesses that they tended.

I just wonder if the protests from Israelis will come. I believe they will, and know why? There goes the cheaper labour to do the crap jobs. That would bring the economy down, because I DO NOT believe that these people making Aliyah are going to settle for taking jobs cleaning toilets and packing vegetables.

  5. What this racist individual has forgotten is that the Israeli Arabs, as she calls them, had a country — not a mere state, until they were forced from their homes by jewish terrorists just as they are being forced from their homes today, just as they are being terrorized today, just as they are being kept in the world's largest concentration camp in Gaza and deliberately forced to starve to death. And that country was called Palestine.

What a revolting glimpse into the mind of another racist politician from the terrorist state!

And I note Livni refers to Israel as a jewish democracy. Man, that comment speaks volumes about her mindset!

Oh, has there been any outcry from the corporate media yet? Any cries for her to be removed from what passes for poliitics in Israel? Because, of course, if anyone else had said this about jews in Israel, for instance, we'd be deafened by now with the familiar uproar.

Double standards alive and well in a craven world.

  6. Hi Angie! So nice to see you again, I always admire your energy and tireless commitment!!

yes, it is true, because she talks about deportation of Arabs, it's just "ok". This is horrible and the fact that the madd media is not taking this as something serious, no hue and cry is ever raised about it, means that it is indeed "normal".

The Double Standards are indeed the root of the problem, you got that right.

  7. It's good to hear from you too, Mary. This is a wonderful web site; I signed up for my newsletters as soon as I was notified of its existence!!. With yourself and dear Gilad busy posting and writing here, it is certainly a cut above!!! Congrats to all involved.

This inherent racism as depicted by Livni is so common place amongst Israeli politicians, military, rabbis, and the like that it's frightening. We know it's there; we've seen it and heard it over and over, but there is never any outrage from the people of the world. And each time we hear it, it is more ugly than the last. It doesn't stop. It doesn't go away. It's always there, lurking …

How and when did it become fashionable to accept these and all the other comments as being "normal"? There is absolutely nothing normal about racism; there is nothing normal about threatening the expulsion of a people. It is, as you say, a crime against humanity. Why isn't it treated as such?

  8. Thanks for the nice compliments, Angie, and there are really a whole lot of people involved, and this is what makes us so pleased. As ever, I welcome your input and for you to write or send articles that you think could be relevant. Your interview on Pepa was a really great piece.

Now, it is really incredible the way people don't really notice (or if they do, it's not a crime) the talk of deportation. One of our Tlaxcala translators at this moment is working on an article about this from an Italian paper. Once I edit it, I'll set it up here. It includes the part about the American Govt keeping quiet. They have got it in their view that Livni is not a radical racist plotting out crimes against humanity as if it was "good governance", and they have the Avigdor Lieberman's to kind of slap the wrists about it: this way, the same exact thing happens, but it is a really moderate person doing it, so IT IS OK!

I hope that the Palestinians of Israeli citizenship get out in the streets and protest about this. Not that the madd media will report it, but still, the alternative media will, and the struggle of all Palestinians as a single people can be demonstrated as being a realistic thing. That there is something to really FEAR for anyone with Palestinian heritage.

  9. Mary, I do believe you have me confused with someone else by the same name. If so, you have my e-mail address there, so please write privately! Cheers.

  10. Angie, for sure I don't. You did 2 interviews, one of Artie Fishel and one we picked up of the Editor of a media outlet Indymedia I think. I could never forget you!

  11. Thank heavens for that!!! Yes, the interview with "Artie" was the most fun I've had for SO long. I loved the cd, and I'm still playing it. I am hoping to get busy now in the New Year and resume my writing, and you can bet I would be honoured to be published here. Likewise, I will send along any articles I feel might be of interest to the readers!

I am so appalled by the imposed starvation of the people of Gaza that the mind cannot comprehend it. People are dying in natural disasters, and here we have a terrorist state, supported by craven nations world wide, deliberately keeping 1.5 million Palestinian people on the brink of starvation, dying from lack of medical assistance, unable to travel from A to B, and all the rest of it.

Surely someone somewhere of a higher power is watching? Surely this cannot be allowed to continue forever? I cannot believe that such unparalleled evil continues to be not only allowed but applauded. It certainly shows an ugly side of humanity, doesn't it, though?

  12. Does any Zionist ever stop and wonder what a state of 100% of their own kind would be like. A chilling thought.
