And lets not forget that on the eve of his election Israel was making an incursion into the Gaza strip.Its quite obvious they knew they had nothing to fear from this incoming regime.In fact Ehud Barak has implied its not a matter of if a full on attack into Gaza will occur but when, sooner rather than later no doubt.Having been unable to starve Gaza into submission over the past 18 months or so, they are going to try to beat them into submission .Gaza streets will be soaked with blood that little children will have to walk though yet again.And to sum it up in a simple sentence, "the more things change the more they remain the same."

Mind you before I leave this and while I am on the subject of Israel I have to ask one question." How dumb are these people".In over 60 years not matter what tactics they have used, they have never managed to beat the Palestinian spirit into submission.

The New Boss is just like the Old Boss.
Maybe America will get a few new "social" programs .
Its hard not being depressed here in the USA .
It would be so much nicer strolling through the halls of the
Stanza della Signatura ….or walking around Michelangelo's Dionysus
or looking at the depth of construction and vision in DaVinci's
"Adoration of the Magi" in the Uffizi ……
Or the intense Red color of the Duccio's in that panel in Sienna ….

I hope my last pennies thrown in the Trevi grant the wish to return to Italy …
