Gilad Atzmon - Congratulations Barak, congratulations Americans

By Gilad Atzmon • Nov 5th, 2008 at 13:55 • Category: Gilad Atzmon, Gilad's Choice, Israel, Newswire, Opinions and Letters, Our Authors, Palestine, Zionism

Once again America has proven that it can bring a change about.

In fact, I would not count on Obama himself to bring a real change, as we all remember, the newly elected President was very quick to appease AIPAC once nominated as the Democratic party candidate.

It was actually the American people who are the real winners here, they are the ones who voted for a change.

The oppressed voted against the lethal devastating combination of greed led by the 'Wolfowitz doctrine' and Greenspan economy, a combination that brought death to 2 million Iraqis and the biggest financial disaster on record.

The American people said NO to the most Zionised administration ever. They said NO to Zionist Wars, they said NO to Greenspan's economy, they said NO to foreign interests shaping their lives. Whether Americans are aware of the depth of their country's involvement with Zionist interests is a big question. Clearly, they are very unhappy with the way things turned out to be, they rushed to the polls en masse to oust the Republicans that betrayed them for too long.

Apparently we can claim that there is democracy in the United States of America. However, one question is left open, what about the alleged 'only democracy in the Middle East'?  Would the same thing be able to happen in Israel?

What would it take for a Palestinian to be voted in to lead the 'Jews Only State'?

I would not hold my breath, in apartheid Israel, millions of Palestinians are surrounded by barbed wire. They are not entitled to shape their fate.

For Israel to become a democracy of its people, it has to drop its racial orientation. It has to stop being a Jewish state.

I do not have a doubt that this will happen eventually, yet, I do not see the Israelis giving away their supremacy peacefully.

Israel must be defeated and it will be defeated. It is just a question of time.

The lesson of last night is pretty obvious.

It only takes the right man at the right time to bring the hope for a change and a better future.

  1. Nothing But a Holohoax™
    "Is the Holocaust a Hoax?

Within five minutes, any intelligent, open-minded person can be convinced that the Holocaust gassings of World War II are a profitable hoax.

Fred A. Leuchter is America's leading specialist on the design and fabrication of execution equipment, including homicidal gas chambers. In 1988, Leuchter scraped samples from the alleged gas chamber walls in Auschwitz, Birkenau and Lublin. Cyanide residue would be clearly evident on all these walls if gassings did occur. To his astonishment, Leuchter found no significant cyanide traces in any one of these rooms.

In 1991, the Polish government repeated these tests to disprove Leuchter's findings, but they as well found no evidence of any gassings ever occurring.

The structural integrity of these "gas chambers" is also extremely faulty. These rooms have ordinary doors and windows which are not hermetically sealed! There are large gaps between the floors and doors. If the Germans had attempted to gas anyone in these rooms, they would have died themselves, as the gas would have leaked and contaminated the entire area. Also, no equipment exists to exhaust the air-gas mixture from these buildings. Nothing was made to introduce or distribute the gas throughout the chambers. There are no provisions to prevent condensation of gas on the walls, floors or ceilings. No exhaust stacks have ever existed.

Though six million Jews supposaedly died in the gas chambers, not one body has ever been autopsied and found to have died of gas poisoning. ……..http://rockthetruth.blogspot.com/2008/11/nothing-but-holohoax.html

  2. this was the shortst trip ever, fuck man, Ram Emanuel chif of staff!!!????!!!!

  3. Being a hopeful optimist and realist, I am relieved we the people of America turned out in record numbers, but we have A LOT of work ahead of US.

Obama's choice of Rep. Rahm Emanuel as White House chief and VP Biden, a blatant Zionist curbs my enthusiasm; but NOT my HOPE that we the people of America "have it in our power to begin the world again"-
    Tom Paine

"HOPE has two children. The first is ANGER at the way things are. The second is COURAGE to DO SOMETHING about it."-St. Augustine

And that kind of HOPE is Audacious!

  4. @amos zukerman -

Hello Amos, how are you doing?
    yep Ram Emanuel…. it didn't take long….

  5. hi Gilad I'm fine, can you see the palestinian delegation having to pass an I.D.F reservist on the way to see Pres. obama? is the c.i.a on to him? or is obama planing to surround him self with arch zionist and then, when A.I.P.A.C not looking……

  6. Eileen and Amos, it is indeed shockingly sad ….

However, Palestinians realised long time ago that America is not going to save them…….

So to a certain extent RE is an old news….

  7. Oh we Christians are so happy over here in America, we have a new Christmas carol for the upcoming holiday season (reworked from John Neal's translation, 1818-66)

    Oh, come, oh, come, Emmanuel,
    Protect poor pitiful Israel,
Don’t let a single Palestinian near
That delicate and chaste Obama ear
    Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel
America pledged to thee, O Israel!

Oh, come, our sweet Obama from on high,
    Thou’st ordered all things zionistical-ly
All our tithes to Israel quickly now
Teach us accepting silence and to bow
    Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel
American pledged to thee, O Israel!

  8. Americans, at last feel they have something to be proud of – electing a leader from one of their ‘minorities’. After the wilderness of the past years, they believe they have something to celebrate – something of the ‘pioneer’ spirit – something that reminds them of what an ‘American’ is supposed to be – you would like us really!

‘Tis a pity that it is just going to be ‘more of the same’. – Pray I am wrong – but it looks as though the poor and oppressed of America will be sold down the river as quickly as the oppressed in the rest of the world!

Unless, Mr.O is using double bluff !

Who fought (and is still fighting for) equal rights in the USA – Black civil rights groups(
Who fought South African Apartheid – Black South Africans
Who fought British occupation of Ireland – Irish republicans

We can all lend our support – but only the Palestinians can emancipate themselves

  9. The more things change the more they remain the same.Considering Obamas choice of Bidden for VP and Emanual for chief of staff and am laying money on a change of name for the good ole USA to the United State of Israel and Yom Kippur to replace thanksgiving Mind you i will eat my words and headscarf if there is a positive change.

  10. yeah dont take to long!!!! next day after nomination!!! … americans should be aware that this violent Israeli will be running the White House….He will be the intellectual handler of the elect president (a continuation of the role he has played for years) …..How we think having a zionist ganster with terrorist roots running the White House will affect the relation with Iran,Russia the palestinian and the rest of the world?

  11. Mr. Atzmon - I sense all your writing is genuine - I really hear the TRUTHS in it. As a Native "American", I did not so much rejoice at the winning of Obama. Yes, he appears to have so much intelligence, maybe even caring, but there has been NO US President that has ever upheld and supported ALL THE WAY, our Federal "Trust" relationship. Most americans do not even know what this Federal relationship means. At any rate, since I have been aware of the Palestinian plight and Isreal's mental illness in dealing with their "brothers & sisters"" in Palestine, I was really really appalled that Obama chose Rahm Emanuel as his Chief of Staff. I had heard Biden was a zion-ist as well. What hope is there anywhere for the Palestinian's and those Isreali's who would desire to live in peace with their neighbor if this is the choices of this new president who supposedly stands for "HOPE and CHANGE"? The outcome is no changes or what changes do happen will not encompass the totality of rights for the Palestinians - and very little hope. I'm angry. This world has a long way to go before there is such a thing as equality and justice for everyone on this planet. There is no ONE man or woman who can accomplish this. The world is too divided. There is too much labeling of human beings. There is too, far too much inhumanity being caused by the so-called leaders of this world. It appears they all can be corrupted. I had a slight hope that Obama might survive with some integrity through the onslaught of those he has to sell-out to for the price of that supreme office.

I feel Palestine is our twin. 500 years and going and there are no great changes for the genocide and the savaging of our Native Indigenous peoples here. I cringe when I think of Palestine and her suffering that so mirrors our own. Stolen lands. Stolen identities. Stolen children. Poverty, early death and suicides through the roof for the apparent hope-lessness of our lives and the never-ending battle to just survive. Just to name a few of our critical issues. Oh yes. I am for Palestine just as I am for our "real peoples" - the Indigenous tribes of this continent. I just don't believe we Natives will register a blip with this so-called hopeful" attitude and feeling of the newly elected president - and with our twin Palestine, the same.

  12. هذه هي بلدي وليس من المستغرب بعد ذلك ، ولكن بفضل..

  13. Gilad et alia:

I have a positive spin on Obama. Not saying it's true necessarily but here goes:

At his core, he is sincere, and as a biracial person who realised that he would always be a black man first in America, he understands both sides, so to speak, can feel both, and also knows there is a real divide still on many levels even though he himself lives in both worlds simultaneously. So he knows how to live in two worlds at once. He has no choice. This is more than a metaphor, rather the ground of his experience as a person.

With this paradigm at his core, and assuming he really does want to lead the country in a good direction again, and being highly intelligent and practical, here's his secret plan:

He cannot confront the key entrenched special interests, aka ruling elites. Indeed, he has to bow down to them in order to sit in the Oval Office which they own and control ultimately. Their main sector of influence is the so-called 'military-industrial-congressional complex' (Ike originally phrased it this way, then crossed out congressional before giving the speech), principally the Fed-based financial system, which means that all national currency is debt-based and rooted in the corporate/banking sector; the military and the many political and social networks that manage all this so that taxpayer funds from the broad masses are channeled into their power networks appropriately. He cannot take them head on.

He saw a financial melt down coming mainly because he felt that the country had lost its mooring morally and economically due to excesses in the financial-military empire which is going into a classic tailspin. He saw it was his time because if there is a serious collapse of sorts, the country will have to turn inwards to do long overdue restructuring, housekeeping. And that is the front where substantive change can occur, that is the front where he can maintain connection with the populace so that even though the elites think they have a populist leader as their puppet, in turn he can use a connection with the people to make him have more authentic power. That current of power will itself constitute a profound change because it will represent a return to a 'real economy' in a 'real' country.

So what he is doing is letting the existing networks have what they want, namely the same old pro-empire (and thus also pro-Zionist) elites running their same old Empire dog and pony show. Nothing is going to change at all. He is young and inexperienced, they all say, so the same sort of people are going to be in the Treasury, State and Defense sectors. His real appointments will come around areas involving Federal to State relationships, the infrastructure initiatives, probably education. But the most important area is to turn around the economy so that America is providing productive employment for her people who are making things again versus just exchanging credit, juggling paper wealth.

Now, here is the smart part: he lets the power player continue; but the economy tanks. Nobody can pay for the 700 foreign bases. There is a groundswell of resentment and fear about too many foreign entanglements, who knows maybe even consistent rumblings about monetary reform. And the same old experts and leaders are in charge and they are presiding over a collapse. He has maintained a very strong connection with the people; the elites are losing face every day. At that point he can pull a MAJOR switcheroo and actually begin to dismantle the military-industrial empire that is crippling the country morally and economically. The people will be behind him because he is delivering on working on what matters, which is jobs.

So by focussing on jobs and domestic reform, he might actually be allowing the country to pivot back to reality, to honesty, to decency, to common sense. And he will leave those power players hanging in a cold wind, but they won't be able to attack him all that much because he never overtly fought against them, indeed he appointed all the people they wanted him to appoint.

He lives in two worlds at once at the core of his being. He is apparently an excellent poker player. Yes, he might be just another pretty face puppet on whom 'they' have lots of compromising photographs etc. etc. But he might actually be something more.

The thing to watch for to see if this sort of positive outcome is even possible is the degree to which he emphasises maintaining a vibrant communication system with his larger constituency, the American people. I was encouraged to see that a couple of days ago he appointed several people from his campaign to keep working those internet channels and they have made noises that they intend to continue this proactively during his Presidency.

Anyway, if this plays out at all this way, then it is actually possible that in a year or two he might be able to go back to some of his more overtly pro-Palestinian positions. If the US Empire agenda is exhausted, lots of things she has been doing the past sixty years or more might change. Including, as unlikely as it seems today, the Zionist stranglehold on the US body politic.

  14. "It was actually the American people who are the real winners here, they are the ones who voted for a change."

Hello Palestine Think Tank - I wish this were really true. Almost all of this article is hopes and wishes, not facts. A dying man will clutch at any straw, including this one:

"The oppressed voted against the lethal devastating combination of greed led by the ‘Wolfowitz doctrine’ and Greenspan economy, a combination that brought death to 2 million Iraqis and the biggest financial disaster on record."

Unfortunately, the oppressed have been duped, as usual.

Zbigniew Brzezinski backs Obama, his son, Mark Brzezinski backed McCain. Both were carefully culled by the establishment rulers as the two wings of the same B1-bomber, for, “when the voting papers of the masses are the deciding factor", and the masses comprise only “the crowd of simpletons and the credulous”, as Hitler had put it, it is easy to run two different colored horses in the race run by the same owners!

Therefore, as Project Humanbeingsfirst wrote on October 22, 2008:

"Since you people seem fed up with the taste of vanilla for 8 years, we shall now give you chocolate! And wouldn't that be a revolutionary step for America?"!

See: Not-Voting is a 'YES' vote to Reject a Corrupt System which thrives on the facade of Elections and Democracy!

    http://humanbeingsfirst.blogspot.com/2008/10/not-voting-is-yes-vote-to-reject-system.html

    Here is an excerpt:

The myth of elections being anything useful, has been so craftily cultivated over the past two generations that none are able to see through the fog of indoctrination that something else entirely, “a power somewhere so organized, so subtle, so watchful, so interlocked, so complete, so pervasive,” such that people only whisper in hushed voices “when they speak in condemnation of it”, runs the United States with the elected Representatives merely as its front faces.

President Woodrow Wilson, after being naively railroaded into agreeing to support the creation of the Federal Reserve System and because of which he had initially won the backing of the oligarchs as an unknown non-politician professor from Princeton, and after signing off on it as President on Christmas eve despite his better judgment since the bill had not actually been debated at all in Congress – in fact even less discussed than the trillion dollar banksters' bailout bill passed just two weeks ago as most of the people's Representatives had left for their home during that Christmas week in 1913 – was stricken with the usual belated disclosure-disease post fait accompli upon leaving his high office and stated:

“Some of the biggest men in the United States, in the field of commerce and manufacture, are of afraid of something. They know that there is a power somewhere so organized, so subtle, so watchful, so interlocked, so complete, so pervasive, that they had better not speak above their breadth when they speak in condemnation of it.”

The evidence for this secretive power was once again witnessed when the Congress, despite its popular opposition, was arm twisted into passing the trillion dollar banksters' bailout legislation (including an additional 600 billion dollars in appropriation for the Pentagon which none of the legislators thought fit to mention). Which power “so organized, so subtle, so watchful, so interlocked, so complete, so pervasive” arm twists them so trivially? Former President Bill Clinton's professor, Carroll Quigley, exposed that power in his 1966 book “Tragedy and Hope - A History of the World in Our Time”:

“The powers of financial capitalism had (a) far-reaching aim, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole. This system was to be controlled in a feudalist fashion by the central banks of the world acting in concert, by secret agreements arrived at in frequent meetings and conferences. The apex of the systems was to be the Bank for International Settlements in Basel, Switzerland; a private bank owned and controlled by the world's central banks which were themselves private corporations. Each central bank… sought to dominate its government by its ability to control Treasury loans, to manipulate foreign exchanges, to influence the level of economic activity in the country, and to influence cooperative politicians by subsequent economic rewards in the business world.”

Why does the press not explain all this to the American peoples? Why are respectable dissenting journalists like Greg Palast, appear no different than any mainstream journalist when it comes to the core axioms that really need exposing? They all dutifully and unquestioningly retain them, and create a facade of providing a choice of sources by debating all the corollaries and other derivatives built upon the doctrine of keeping the axioms intact.

So they will energetically debate whether or not it is better to enforce economic sanctions alone, or combine it with 20 bombing runs of nuclear first-strike, or 20000 of Daisy Cutters, but not what right United States has of doing any of it when she herself possesses more than 20,000 atomic weapons of all nomenclature and is the biggest war monger on the planet. They would never remind the American people as the retired and/or serving Generals are paraded before them on television arguing this and that option, of the 1967 words of Martin Luther King: “my country is the greatest purveyor of violence in the world today”. Watch this principle in operation with astute wordsmithing in the conversation between Henry Kissinger and Charile Rose on PBS. Of course, in that entire hour long conversation, Charlie Rose did not think of asking Dr. Kissinger whether he had uttered the following famous statements at the secretive Bilderberger meeting, or whether they were merely fiction:

“Today Americans would be outraged if U.N. troops entered Los Angeles to restore order; tomorrow they will be grateful. This is especially true if they were told there was an outside threat from beyond, whether real or promulgated, that threatened our very existence. It is then that all peoples of the world will plead with world leaders to deliver them from this evil. The one thing every man fears is the unknown. When presented with this scenario, individual rights will be willingly relinquished for the guarantee of their well being granted to them by their world government.”

Similarly, the press all pretty unanimously agreed, both the mainstream, and dissentstream, the “left” and the “right”, that 911 was an invasion from abroad, fully parroting the White House and the Pentagon version of events as gospels of truth. They still retain that very axiom.

Similarly, here too, for these elections, they all tend to pretty much agree that there is something useful in the way members are elected into the ivory halls of Congress and the White House, and the methods by which they govern, and therefore the integrity of that process needs to be worried about. But they mainly focus on the actual act of balloting and counting or not-counting of the votes, often rehearsing the famous line of Joseph Stalin on “who counts the vote”. So that is great journalism – look, also quoting Stalin!

But do they ever bring to light that the contestants have already been pre-filtered in secret oligarchic meetings at the Bilderbergers and the Council on Foreign Relations? Or that those so anointed are subsequently run in the races with one side artificially pitted against the other, with careful exclusion of any realistic challenge to the 'chosen ones' from all other quarters through fully financing their campaigns and giving full media prominence and editorial support (as all the private presses too are owned by them)?

  15. @eileen fleming -

    Hi Eileen -

    That's an interesting quote:

“HOPE has two children. The first is ANGER at the way things are. The second is COURAGE to DO SOMETHING about it.”-St. Augustine

But something is missing in it, which is why it might have been a good idea had it actually been empircial.

See: Happy-Happy in Hope and Voluntary Servitude

    http://humanbeingsfirst.blogspot.com/2008/09/happy-happy-in-hope-voluntary-servitude.html

    Here is an excerpt:

“Resolve to serve no more, and you are at once freed. I do not ask that you place hands upon the tyrant to topple him over, but simply that you support him no longer; then you will behold him, like a great Colossus whose pedestal has been pulled away, fall of his own weight and break in pieces.” (La Boétie, The Politics of Obedience: The Discourse of Voluntary Servitude)

And to comprehend how La Boétie's insight has been cleverly employed to checkmate the common man in the West by the same tyrant and his exponents, who in these times, conveniently install the despot as the front-face of a secretive oligarchy, see “Weapons of Mass Deception – the Master Social Science” [2]. It is the profound lack of understanding of this latter discourse that today enables "Voluntary Servitude" in the affluent West. No amount of rehearsing Boétie's commonsensical platitudes, the profound Ten Commandments, or even the Biblical Golden Rule “Do unto others as you have others do unto you”, is going to empower Plato's “Prisoners of the Cave” [3]. For indeed, “none are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free.” Only astute political science can effectively counter devilish political science! See for instance “How to derail 'imperial mobilization' and preempt the crossing of the Nuclear Rubicon” [4].

But what about the “Voluntary Servitude” in the East and the Global South that is egregiously loaded with almost 3/4th of all the natural resources of the planet and is yet also home to 3/4th of the world's poverty stricken humanity? Surely the hungry man unable to feed his family knows the price of “cake” quite well? And yet, he continues to persist in enabling his own servitude? What prevents La Boétie's prescription today when the same principle exemplarily brought down the majesty of the British Empire in its own Jewel in the Crown less than four score years past?

The answer must remain the same as during La Boétie's time – the threshold of the masses' tolerance hasn't been crossed yet – the poor among mankind having been endowed with infinite patience and eternal hope! It is this “hope”, and man's misplaced optimism due to it, that primarily enables one's “Voluntary Servitude”. Therefore, despite the simple mechanism of overthrowing it – albeit only collectively – being quite naturally available to man as rationally demonstrated by Boétie, “hope” perniciously incapacitates him.

The omission of this empirical observation of eternal “hope” in man – also a key to his survival by averting despondency during misfortunes – in La Boétie's political discourse can perhaps be attributed to the author's youthful inexperience at the time when he composed his remarkably astute treatise, and for which, he may surely be forgiven! Perhaps this is why Boétie did not publish the discourse as he may have intuitively felt its incompleteness (although some others have offered more exoteric reasons for it such as concern for his own personal safety from the tyrants of the day).

As with the surfeit of anything, man's natural affinity towards “hope” becomes his enduring anchor into his own long-term “Voluntary Servitude”. It is a natural “opiate” that apparently only exists in humankind. It is far more universal in its sedative effect than any imagined by Karl Marx when he mistakenly blamed man's tolerance for his own exploitation, upon his obsession with “religion”! Far transcending the realm of social inculcation, but often exploited by it, “hope” appears to be innate in every individual human being!

Lest one might be mistaken that this opiate is only for the backward humanity of the Global South, the miserable poor in the religion and spirituality imbued East that is perennially “waiting for Allah” or “Karma”, the recent statistics for the United States, the exemplar of advanced civilization out to teach the rest of the world how to live, exposes that misconception [5]:
