I quite agree with traducteur's comment. Those who died are human beings, and if we are opposed to zionism, it is because what we find at its bottom is the denial of human dignity to those who happen to have a religion, or a name, or a language, or just a look which those racist invaders conveniently deem inferior to theirs.

Our first duty towards the victims is to assert that they are endowed with the full dignity of human beings. And therefore, to begin with, to do what we can to see to it that their name be not forgotten.

Indeed, nearly every week from february to june 2004, I printed a poster which I nailed on a wooden board, about 60 cm x 100 cm where I had printed, in heavy black characters, the name and the age of those who had been killed during the previous two weeksweek, whith the sole mention "killed in their own country by the occupation army", with a vertical Palestinan banner about 15 cm broad all along the board, and my name and adress.

I stood by this board every saturday from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm, in the main place of the city where I live. Surprinsigly enough, there was very little name calling.

And, I regret ro say, it's a long time since I'm no longer a vigourous long man, and my physical strength is next to nil. So it's only a matter of not being afraid of one's shadow

And right now, I'm going to translate Kawther's paper in french, so that it wille be read by more people.

It's noticeable that the Western media never print the names of Palestinian victims. May they rest in peace.
