Iqbal Tamimi - Chant for Israel… “long live Demonclassy”

Whenever there is a debate about what happens in Palestine, and what kind of hell the Palestinians endure under the Israeli occupation, there is always a Zionist volunteer ready and armoured with the same sentence “Isn’t it enough that Israel is THE ONLY DEMOCRACY IN THE MIDDLE EAST?”
I don’t know who offered Israel such a description and who granted Israel such an honour.
While Palestinians were counting their 240 sick people who died in Gaza as a result of the Israeli siege, Israel’s Prime Minister Shimon Perez celebrated his 85th birthday at Demona atomic power plant. Was he sending the world a certain message having in mind that Israel was and still is nagging the USA to do all it can to prevent Iran from developing its atomic programme?
Going back 39 years ago to this day, Israel burned Al-Aqsa Mosque. Palestinians are still, as they were then, struggling to stay alive, and keep what is left of their identity. Many of them resisted all the direct and indirect methods used to empty the land of what remains of its indigenous people and dissolve its identity. While Israel is still doing the impossible to bring every person it can who claims he is a Jew to come and settle in Palestine, regardless of his origins, or when he embraced Judaism. It is offering such total strangers a piece of Palestine’s liver on a gold platter. This policy has nothing to do with religion or human reasons; it is the war of demographic policies and numbers.
Today the Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert announced that he decided to bring 7,232 Indians who claim they descended from a long lost Jewish group called Bnei Menashe. He never acknowledged that I descended from Abraham, as many Palestinians are, since we are Semites and Abraham - peace be upon him - is our grandfather. Olmert chooses who he acknowledges his ancestors to be and they will have something to do with Palestine upon Zionist calculations.
The Bnei Menashe are claimed to have descended from the tribe of Menashe, one of the Ten Tribes exiled by the Assyrian empire over 2,700 years ago. Regardless of any proof of that, he decided to bring those people to Palestine. But he never acknowledged my right to be in Palestine because I was visiting on the other side of the River Jordan when his army invaded my hometown and occupied my hometown, where my family lived since 1400 years.
A few days ago, on the 14th of August 2008 the Jewish Chronicle newspaper said that Officials from the Israeli Foreign Ministry, Nativ and the Jewish Agency arrived at the embassy of Georgia in Tbilisi to process emigration procedures to Israel. Over 90 permits were authorized in one day. About 30, mainly refugees from Gori, were flown to Israel on Tuesday. This is a similar airlift of the type that Israel undertook in 1990 to bring 13,000 Jews from Ethiopia.
This also reminds us of the time when a Zionist Organization sent Shmuel Yavne’eli to Yemen to encourage Jews to emigrate from Yemen to Palestine. Yavne’eli reached Yemen at the beginning of 1911 and returned to Palestine in April 1912. Due to Yavne’eli’s efforts about 1,000 Jews were transferred to Palestine. Many such efforts were going on to bring any person who claims to be a Jew to replace folds over of Palestinians forced out of their country.
Every means possible is used by the Israeli state to empty Palestine of Palestinians; No way can a Palestinian forced out from his home come back - not in a blue moon or any other color, contrary to total strangers gathered from all over the world like a cocktail claiming the right to live in Palestine because they practice certain rituals.
Israel is the only state in the world that has on people’s passports the classification.. ‘Jew’ and ‘non Jew’. Not an Israeli citizen… a Jew. If you happen to be a Christian or a Muslim, then tough, you are vulnerable to all kinds of discrimination. Killing Palestinians is always described as a ‘reprisal’ or ‘retaliation’. Practicing Jewish rituals is called religious, but practicing Muslims are called ‘fanatics’. Israel supports the fight of Tibetan People seeking freedom from the Chinese, but considers Palestinians’ quest for freedom as terrorism. Practicing Christians and Muslims are called religious fanatics; while Jewish fanatics are described as individuals of deep religious and moral conviction.
I could never understand how a state built on faith discrimination can be called a democracy. I guess it is about time that some courageous person confesses that a new kind of political entity is being created and accepted by many. In short, such Israeli ideology is based on the perception that some people are more equal than others, and this is still called DEMOCRACY. Even though such classification, deprive supposedly equal citizens of certain supposedly equal rights.
The funny thing is, great countries claiming to believe in human rights, and acknowledging equality between humans like the UK and the USA are themselves supporting such racist regime in every possible way.
You can see puppets like Tony Blair, George Bush, Barak Obama and others in photographs wearing the small Jewish cap when visiting the apartheid state, trying, pleading to please and earn acceptance, but has anyone ever seen a Jewish leader wearing a cross? This coin has only one face.

What a good word for Zionist ideology! Iqbal, I will get this article on the Ottawa IndyMedia right now… Israel calls itself a “democracy” while being a terrorist regime. Some democracy!
Iqbal,
for you we are all puppets and democracy is only what you defined.
You ignore all the non-Iqbal knowledge of governance and political structure to claim again that Israel creation created harm … but we all (include a lot of Israelis) see that, our question is toward what future we go, how can we make sure to stop this violent dance of Israelis and Palestinians.
You can be prude to say that you will never accept Israel existence as it started with crimes against the Palestinians but looking of what exist in Palestine now it seem as unreal direction that cost more Palestinian children to die.
The constant ploy of asking you to look the other way, at the “future”, without looking at the present! Israelis don’t realise that if they want to go towards a future, they need to look with honesty at the Palestinian present of occupation and suffering.
The ploy is there so that Israelis can act like they are doing something, while doing nothing at all, and make it look like it is Palestinians who don’t know how to get out of the Violent Dance.
Blaming the deaths of Palestinian children on Palestinians and their views about the wrongness of ethnic cleansing and occupation is the height of Chutzpah!
