Falastin quote
By Mary Rizzo • Jul 9th, 2008 at 8:00 • Category: Falastin, Quotes The Israelis try to assassinate our history and human feelings beside our physical existence in the area for hundreds of years. They insist on treating us as numbers, as 3rd grade citizens that are only entitled to the least of human needs. But they are daily faced by the Palestinian people's ability to continue living, tolerating the most tragic events. We are a nation that is looking forward towards a normal peaceful life. We deserve it, and we deserve our independent state and identity so that we can take part in the area's development. This is what I think about as I sit in the car watching people being treated like dirt, young soldiers ignoring even our human identity.

At the risk of being impertinent, your photo is lovely, but the 'digest' email contains zero articles.

GRRR! Ibrahim! I've set up FIVE (count'em 5) articles yesterday, and you can even see the formatting is funky funky mess, I thought I did my duty! Tomorrow we will have a magnificent post by Kawther, and the day after that a splendid one by Adel, so be patient, read the 5 articles from yesterday and you will be rewarded!
xx
Sorry to be the source of trouble.
I really did read all of the yesterday's articles, especially the Bhagouti (sp?) one about boycotts and intellectuals – very thought provoking, although a bit wordy. I highly recommend it to anyone who takes the time to take it in, as it covers the ideology of Divestment and Boycotts and further, there are links to interesting articles covering similar themes which opened my eyes, broadened my outlook and informed me of some history re South Africa. Particularly interesting was the refutation of the Israeli intellectuals' arguments against boycotts, point by point.
