Falastin quote

The years went by, and even though I missed my family and occasionally my old way of life, the warmth of the Palestinian people and their deep devotion and love of family and country gained my highest respect. I was proud to raise my children in a society that, in spite of so much turmoil and suffering on its soil, still kept its traditions and respected its elders, honoured its guests, and kept the family unit well intact.
