You are mistaken about much of my intent in writing this, but I'll admit that shortly after Gadna I was pretty high on the whole thing. I'm back in the US now and I'm a sophomore Religious Studies major. The point that you miss, and granted, I did not make it in that post, because it's not what the post was about, is that I'm a pro-Palestinian Zionist. I'm looking forward to and hopefully working towards a day when Zionist doesn't equal likudnik-jingoist-nonsense artist in the minds of liberals worldwide, a day when Palestinians and Jews are living in Israel/Palestine in peace and friendship. It's focus is the the right-wing fringe of ritual and liturgy within the American Jewish Reform movement. I try to stay away from politics, though I do feel strongly about peace in Israel and Palestine. I can say that I am glad you are awakening to the actual crux of the matter that created Zionism, and that is Judaism. Of course their are many forms, but it is all rooted in a veiled "chosen one" supremacy misinterpretation from the original Torah - the Tanakh, later developing into a more aggressive hateful supremacy against the "goyim" (cattle) in the Talmud which is now considered in some Judaic sects to be part of the overall Torah teachings. Judaism today is based on Talmudism which is based on Pharisaism. There have been many rabbis who have proclaimed the supreme authority of the Talmud over the original Torah - which is absurd if you actually look at the origin of this Talmud, through the Mishnah which was supposedly passes down to Moses by "God" in Oral Law form which they call the Oral Torah as opposed to the Written Torah. For some reason this secret oral law was kept only for the priestly cast because only they were supposed to know it... what a bunch of BS... it was created by the priestly hierarchy to control the followers of the Torah-based theological philosophy. These priests who were Sadducees and Pharisees are the major root of keeping the "Jewish" people in ghettos where they could control them. The people of the Judaic faith have been controlled for many centuries and some are still under the socially conditioned control if not plain brainwashed, as are most of the people in the Western world under the socially conditioned control of Zionist or "Jewish" puppets in media, government and other establishment sectors that prevent any discussion of these important topics. It doesn't take much looking around to see that there is a highly disproportionate influence in the media and certain parts of the government by pro-Israel or let alone "Jewish" people. The dual citizen aspect of many neo-cons is quite troubling. There have been authors exposing the hatred in the Talmud and the supremacy in much of the Judaic philosophy for decades. I recommend you look into Benjamin Freedman and Jack Bernstein. Those "Jews" have a lot to say about their former compatriots. Please look into their works. I only hope the people who profess to be Judaic - and others of all nations and religious creeds - will change their ways and act more in accordance with a humanist philosophy of caring for others as much as themselves (the killing and wars in our names must stop!). It's time we put an end to being manipulated and controlled by lies in the media and government and stop being manipulated by the "special" treatment supposedly deserved when making any honest or logical analysis of "Jews" or their influence in all aspects of life.
