What passes as 'news' in USA is mindless entertainment fueled by the worship of celebrities. But the times are always a changin' and HOPE arrived the day the New Fourth Estate was birthed because of the limp and MIA MSM. If anyone could be credited as the first Civilian Journalist, it would have to be Rachel Corrie-who left the comforts of hearth and home to GO OUT, BEAR WITNESS and REPORT as accurately as she could and she wrote from her heart. Because of the border-less world of the Internet, people who would never have crossed paths due to distance, now communicate easily via the World Wide Web. All life is interdependent and interconnected and the Internet is the visible reality of this open mystery; and injustice anywhere effects us all everywhere.
