I don’t like this cartoon at all. It implies that Palestine should be nothing more than a piece of land that can be placed anywhere. And the caption could be a lot better!

I definitely think the cartoon works (and on many levels). I don’t think it implies at all what “should” happen, but what *is* happening. Hell, a second panel could show scissors trimming it down as if reducing the size allows it to be placed at all since no place/accomodation has been made at all for the people that Israel considers a nuisance.
The cartoon works in the fact that it shows how the world has determined Palestine… No room for it anywhere in the picture. It will settle for what is left over… hell, it can be thrown out!!
