The last four days uncovered the reality of the balance of power in Lebanon, for when the pro-government leaders, such as Saad Al-Hariri and Walid Jumblatt find themselves under siege, and cannot leave their headquarters, and ask for the army's protection, this means that there is one power in the country which has the strength to impose its will.

We don't think that those leaders are unaware of this fact, nor of the minutest details of the military power on the ground, which obliges us to ask what made them suddenly resort to escalation, and what made them take decisions that they can't implement or enforce, such as the firing of General Walid Shukeir, the commander of the Beirut airport security, and the removal of Hezbollah's telecommunications network and cameras, as they consider them illegal.

The answer to this question and its ramifications, could be reduced to two subjects, it is either that the pro-government group is too naïve, which we don't believe they are, or some external powers asked them to escalate, and provoke Hezbollah to pull their legs to indulge them in an internal civil war of attrition, which we consider more likely.

There is unanimity among the Arab "moderate" alliance for the necessity of the liquidation of Lebanese resistance and its arsenal in Lebanon. The U.S. and the Israelis go hand in hand with this aim, it is not unlikely that they asked their Lebanese allies, as they are supposed to form the constitutional legitimacy, to provoke Hezbollah to force it to use its military power in internal affairs; so as to be able to say that this arsenal is not for use against Israel, or to liberate occupied Lebanese territories, but to control Lebanon by the force of arms in Lebanon and turn the constitutional balance upside-down.

They want to internationalize Lebanon, and find the excuse for the United States, Israel, France and possibly some "moderate" Arab states to interfere militarily and send armed forces, under the pretence of saving the legitimate government headed by Fouad Siniora. The American naval fleet is still stationed just outside the Lebanese territorial waters, waiting for the opportunity for immediate interference. But if this interference is attempted, it shall be too costly. (Breaking news: The U.S. Fleets is reported to move towards the Lebanese shores. The translator).

America and Israel cannot declare war on the Lebanese resistance without a legitimate justification. The American Administration cannot again resort to lies after losing its credibility. The Lebanese front with occupied Palestine is quiet, and the international interim forces are performing their duty in observing the boundary in the best possible manner, and no trespassing on the part of the resistance was reported, on the contrary, many trespassing incidents were registered against Israel such as the violation of the Lebanese airspace.

The meeting of the Arab ministers of foreign affairs, called by invitation of Saudi Arabia and Egypt, the leading "moderate" Arab states supported by Condoleezza Rice, U.S. Secretary of State, is nothing but the first step on the way of the internationalization of the Lebanese crisis, and providing the legal cover for American/Zionist interference, as a first step for igniting a regional war to draw Iran and Syria into it.

As when an Egyptian official speaker, on behalf of the Government, announces that his country cannot allow a force supported by Iran to take control of the government in Lebanon, this means that a war is declared against the Lebanese resistance, and a sign of interfering against it. Why didn't this same speaker make such an announcement when the U.S. not only interfered but waged war and occupied Iraq, and to condemn the Israeli occupation of Palestine and the atrocities committed against the Palestinian people? And how does it allow the strangling siege on Gaza, the stoppage of fuel supplies to it, not to mention supplying Israel with natural gas at reduced prices.It ought be admitted, and without going too deep into theorization, there are two major projects for the Arab region, the first is to adopt the choice of resistance by Syria, Iran, Hezbollah, and the Palestinian resistance factions, and the second choice is taking a stance with the American camp and its project of domination, strengthening and enforcing of Israeli military supremacy, that is programmed to include the axis of Arab "moderates". The choice of resistance, which is firmly supported by the Arab people, sabotaged this Zio-American camp and practically proved its failure. Arab supporters of the American camp completely failed to dismantle one single "illegal"* Zionist colony, or remove one checkpoint out of the about 750 in the West Bank, in spite of the free of charge services they extended to the American invasion of Iraq, meaning to join the American war against terrorism, or to hit the Islamic groups or put them under siege. Yes, Hezbollah is supported by Iran and Hamas too, and if Iran took control over the first, and found a foothold in Palestine through the second, this is due to the feebleness of the official Arab regimes, and their connivance with the American project, and their lack of a real project to regain Arab dignity, and support of Arab causes. There is an Iranian project, another Turkish, a third Indian, a fourth Chinese but not an Arab one, whatsoever.

The struggle in Lebanon is not Sunni-Shiite as the "moderate" camp and its propaganda machine wants to picture it, it is a struggle between a resistance project, and another of surrender, in between the American war camp against this nation, and those who stand in the opposite camp. It is a struggle between those who defeated Israel and humiliated it, and those who were defeated in their confrontations with it. Palestinians who are mostly Sunnis, don't harbor enmity towards Shiites and Hezbollah in Lebanon, on the contrary, they support it, with the exception of some fundamentalists, which applies to the majority of the Arab people from its far western end and its furthest eastern end, that is in between Morocco on the shores of the Atlantic, and Yemen on the shores of the Indian Ocean. So the extensive trials to devilish Shiites and Hezbollah for American aims are destined to failure exactly as was the case with the "devilish" left in the past.

The present U.S. Administration that tries to spread the internal sectarian viruses, and copy the Iraqi example to the various parts of the region, making use of its allied regimes as an information and religious cover for its attempts. America allied itself with some Shiites in Iraq against Sunnis, and with the Sunnis in Lebanon against the Shiites, America is against any party that resorts to resistance to its own and the Zionist aggression.

The American criterion to classify its enemies and allies is Israel, and their stance in relation to its projects in the region, whoever resists Israel, and declares resistance as a choice in Iraq, is definitely classified as a mortal enemy, one that should be punished and isolated to whatever sect and religion he belongs to, and whoever is ready to "normalize" with Israel and keep silent about its massacres, supports American occupation of Iraq is the ally and the friend who deserves its support and assistance.

Lebanese neutrality is a lie that is only believed by those who utter it. Lebanon cannot be neutral in an explosive region when its security, wealth and ideology are targeted. How could it be neutral under a sectarian complex that has regional and international extensions, a mostly corrupt and hireling political leadership that is stationed in between main conflicting powers, one of which was implanted by force in the middle of major conflicting powers in the region that cannot live in their midst except by aggression (Israel)? That is classified among the historical, geographical strategic power that is Syria, the lands of which are still occupied. The short periods of stability that Lebanon passed through were nothing but periods of artificial armistice, most of which were before the establishment of the Zionist entity. Even in the last ten years they experienced short stability periods, as a result of Syrian-Saudi agreements with an American blessing, and the non-objection of Israel. Now the Syrian-Saudi concurrence collapsed and turned out to be an open enmity, and the American blessing evaporated, but Israel is getting ready for war with the hope of rescuing the smashed awe of its armed forces in July 2006. This explains the reason of the present escalation conditions. We don't believe that there is an imminent way out of the present crisis, the idea of present idea of violence is continuously gaining ground, because America and Israel want the continuity of the security disturbances, so as to pull the legs of Iran and Syria into a regional war, in one way or another, and all the Lebanese, without exception, are the victims of this devilish plan.

Repeating the words of return to dialogue, and call on the wise to save the country from a damaging war is like grinding water, Lebanon is just a reflection of regional balances and a arena for an Arab and international struggle. Thus the internal agreement would not be achieved except in the shade of an external agreement, which is not presently prevailing.

With great regret we say, Lebanon’s free decision had never been there at any time, and the solemnity of its system had always been relative, thus the future is dim, not to say jet black.

* Illegal colony (so-called settlement)! We don't see any difference between a colony approved by the ruling authorities and those that are built without its agreement. All colonies are illegal, as they were built by invaders on occupied Arab land, whether on private or public property).

كرة العنف تكبر في لبنان

كشفت أحداث الأيام الأربعة الأخيرة حقيقة موازين القوي في لبنان، فعندما يجد قادة فريق الموالاة، مثل السيدين سعد الحريري ووليد جنبلاط، أنفسهم محاصرين في مقراتهم، لا يستطيعون مغادرتها، ويستعينون بالجيش لتوفير الحماية لهم، فهذا يعني أن هناك قوة واحدة في البلاد، تملك اليد العليا، وتستطيع أن تفرض إرادتها.

ولا نعتقد أن قادة فريق الموالاة لا يعرفون هذه الحقيقة، وأدق تفاصيل الأوضاع العسكرية علي الأرض، مما يحتم علينا أن نطرح سؤالا محددا هو عن أسباب لجوئهم إلى التصعيد فجأة، واتخاذ قرارات لا يستطيعون تطبيقها، مثل طرد العميد وفيق شقير مدير امن مطار بيروت، وإزالة شبكة اتصالات حزب الله وكاميراته باعتبارها غير شرعية.

الإجابة عن هذا السؤال، وتفرعاته، يمكن اختصارها في احد أمرين، فإما أن تكون جماعة الموالاة علي درجة كبيرة من السذاجة، وهذا ما نستبعده، وإما أن تكون جهات خارجية طلبت منهم التصعيد، واستفزاز حزب الله لجره إلى حرب أهلية استنزافية داخلية، وهذا ما نرجحه.
هناك إجماع في أوساط حلف المعتدلين العرب علي ضرورة تصفية المقاومة وسلاحها في لبنان، ويلتقي معه في هذا الهدف الطرفان الأمريكي والإسرائيلي، ومن غير المستبعد أن يكون هؤلاء قد أوعزوا إلي حلفائهم في لبنان، باعتبارهم يجسدون الشرعية الدستورية من وجهة نظرهم، للتحرك فورا، واستفزاز حزب الله لإجباره علي استخدام سلاحه وقواته في أمور داخلية، حتى يقولوا أن هذا السلاح لم يكن في الأساس من اجل الاستخدام ضد إسرائيل وبهدف تحرير الأراضي اللبنانية المحتلة، وإنما للسيطرة علي لبنان، وقلب المعادلة الدستورية.

إنهم يريدون تدويل لبنان، وإيجاد ذريعة للولايات المتحدة وإسرائيل وفرنسا، وربما بعض الدول العربية للتدخل عسكريا وار سال قوات، تحت ذريعة إنقاذ الحكومة الشرعية التي يتزعمها السيد فؤاد السنيورة، فالبوارج الأمريكية ما زالت ترابط في عرض البحر، قبالة السواحل اللبنانية، انتظارا لهذه الفرصة للتدخل الفوري. ولكنه تدخل، لو حدث، سيكون باهظ التكاليف.
أمريكا وإسرائيل لا تستطيعان إعلان الحرب علي المقاومة في لبنان دون مبرر شرعي ، فالإدارة الأمريكية لا تستطيع اللجوء إلى الأكاذيب مجددا بعد أن فقدت مصداقيتها، فالجبهة اللبنانية هادئة، وقوات الطوارئ الأممية تقوم بواجبها في مراقبة الحدود علي أكمل وجه، ولم تسجل أي تجاوز من قبل قوات المقاومة، بل علي العكس من ذلك تماما، سجلت العديد من التجاوزات الإسرائيلية التي تمثلت في الانتهاك المستمر للطائرات الحربية للأجواء اللبنانية.

اجتماع وزراء الخارجية العرب الطارئ الذي يعقد اليوم بدعوة من مصر والمملكة العربية السعودية قطبي محور الاعتدال الذي أسسته السيدة كوندوليزا رايس وزيرة الخارجية الأمريكية، هو الخطوة الأولي علي طريق تدويل الأزمة اللبنانية، وتوفير الغطاء الشرعي العربي للتدخل العسكري الأمريكي والإسرائيلي، كمقدمة لإشعال فتيل حرب إقليمية لجر إيران وسورية.
فعندما يعلن متحدث رسمي مصري، أن بلاده لا يمكن أن تسمح لقوة تدعمها إيران بالسيطرة علي مقاليد الأمور في لبنان، فان هذا يعتبر إعلان حرب علي المقاومة في لبنان، ومؤشرا علي قرب التدخل عسكريا ضدها. فلماذا لم يقل هذا المتحدث الشيء نفسه عن الاحتلال الأمريكي للعراق، والإسرائيلي لفلسطين؟ وكيف يسمح بحصار غزة، ومنع الوقود عنها، بل وبتزويد إسرائيل بالغاز بأسعار مخفضة؟
لا بد من الاعتراف، ودون الإغراق في التنظير، بان هناك مشروعين أساسيين في المنطقة العربية، احدهما يعتمد خيار المقاومة وتتبناه سورية وإيران وحزب الله وفصائل المقاومة الفلسطينية، وثانيهما يعتمد خيار الوقوف في المعسكر الأمريكي ومخططاته في الهيمنة، وتكريس التفوق العسكري الإسرائيلي، ويضم دول محور الاعتدال العربي.
خيار المقاومة، والتمسك به، هو الذي مكن حماس من السيطرة علي قطاع غزة، و حزب الله علي بيروت، لان المشروع الآخر، أي الوقوف في الخندق الأمريكي، ثبت فشله عمليا، وانفضاض الشعوب العربية من حوله بالتالي. فأنصار هذا المشروع الأمريكي من العرب عجزوا بالكامل عن تفكيك مستوطنة واحدة، أو إزالة حاجز إسرائيلي من سبعمائة حاجز في الضفة الغربية، رغم الخدمات الكبيرة والمجانية التي قدموها لأمريكا، سواء بالانخراط في الحرب ضد الإرهاب، أو المشاركة بفاعلية في دعم الغزو الأمريكي للعراق، أو ضرب الجماعات الإسلامية وحصارها.
نعم حزب الله مدعوم من قبل إيران، وكذلك حركة حماس ، وإذا كانت إيران سيطرت علي لبنان من خلال الأول، ووجدت موضع قدم في فلسطين من خلال الثانية، فهذا عائد إلي العجز الرسمي العربي وتواطؤ الأنظمة العربية مع المشروع الأمريكي وعدم امتلاكها أي مشروع حقيقي لاستعادة الهيبة العربية المفقودة، ونصرة قضايا الأمة. فهناك مشروع إيراني، وآخر تركي، وثالث هندي ورابع صيني، ولا مشروع عربي علي الإطلاق.

الصراع في لبنان ليس صراعا سنيا ـ شيعيا مثلما يريد محور الاعتدال وإعلامه تصويره، انه صراع بين مشروع مقاوم، وآخر مستسلم، بين من يقف في معسكر الحروب الأمريكية ضد هذه الأمة، ومن يقف في الخندق المقابل، صراع بين من انتصر علي إسرائيل وأذلها، ومن انهزم في مواجهاته معها. فالفلسطينيون وهم سنة بالمطلق، لا يكنون أي عداء للشيعة أو لـ حزب الله ، بل يؤيدونه، باستثناء بعض القلة السلفية، وهذا ينطبق علي الغالبية العظمي من الشعوب العربية في المغرب والمشرق. ولذلك فان المحاولات الدؤوبة لشيطنة الشيعة و حزب الله لأسباب أمريكية محكوم عليها بالفشل تماما مثلما كان حال شيطنة اليسار في الماضي.
الإدارة الأمريكية الحالية هي التي تحاول نشر الفيروسات الطائفية الدخيلة، ونقل النموذج الطائفي العراقي إلى مختلف أنحاء المنطقة، واستخدام الأنظمة الحليفة لها لتوفير الغطاء الإعلامي والديني لها. فأمريكا تحالفت مع الشيعة ضد السنة في العراق، ومع السنة ضد الشيعة في لبنان. فهي ضد كل من يقاوم سواء أكان سنيا أو شيعيا.
المعيار الأمريكي لتصنيف الأعداء والأصدقاء هو إسرائيل، والموقف من المشاريع الأمريكية في المنطقة، فمن يحارب إسرائيل، ويعلن المقاومة كخيار في العراق، فهو عدو لدود يجب أن يعاقب ويعزل بغض النظر عن طائفته ومذهبه، ومن يقبل أن يتعايش مع إسرائيل ويغض الطرف عن مجازرها، ويساند الاحتلال الأمريكي في العراق فهو الحليف والصديق الذي يستحق الدعم والمساندة.

الحياد اللبناني أكذوبة صدقها من أطلقها، فلبنان لا يمكن أن يكون محايدا في منطقة ملتهبة ومستهدفة في أمنها وثرواتها وعقيدتها، وكيف يكون محايدا في ظل تركيبة طائفية معقدة لها امتدادات إقليمية ودولية وقيادات سياسية فاسدة ومأجورة في معظمها، ويتواجد وسط قوي رئيسية متصارعة، إحداها مزروعة بالقوة في المنطقة لا يمكن أن تعيش إلا بالعدوان (إسرائيل)، وثانيتها تعتبر من مراكز القوي التاريخية والجغرافية والإستراتيجية أي سورية ما زالت أراضيها محتلة.
فترات الاستقرار القصيرة التي عاشها لبنان كانت عبارة عن هدنات ومعظمها قبل قيام الدولة العبرية، وحتى فترة السنوات العشر الماضية من الهدوء كانت مصطنعة، وثمرة توافق سوري ـ سعودي، ومباركة أمريكية، وعدم ممانعة إسرائيلية. الآن انهار التوافق السعودي ـ السوري وانقلب عداء سافرا، وتبخرت المباركة الأمريكية، أما إسرائيل فتستعد للحرب على أمل إنقاذ هيبة جيشها المسحوقة في حرب تموز (يوليو) عام 2006، وهذا ما يفسر حالة التصعيد الراهنة.
ولا نعتقد أن هناك مخرجا وشيكا من هذه الأزمة الراهنة، فكرة العنف الحالية تكبر يوما بعد يوم، لان أمريكا وإسرائيل تريدان استمرار الاضطرابات الأمنية، لجر إيران وسورية إلى الحرب الإقليمية، بطريقة أو بأخرى، وجميع اللبنانيين ضحايا هذا المخطط الشيطاني دون استثناء.
تكرار كلمات مثل حتمية العودة إلى الحوار، ومناشدة العقلاء التدخل لإنقاذ البلاد من حرب مدمرة هما مثل طحن الماء، فلبنان هو انعكاس صادق لتوازنات إقليمية وساحة صراع عربي ودولي للأسف. ولذلك فإن الوفاق الداخلي لا يمكن أن يتحقق إلا في ظل توافق خارجي وهذا غير متوفر حاليا.
فلبنان أداة نقولها بأسف شديد، وقراره لم يكن مستقلا في أي يوم من الأيام، وهيبة نظامه كانت نسبية، ولذلك تبدو صورة المستقبل قاتمة، بل قاتمة جدا.
