The good journalist finds himself subjected to many pressures, his need to support his family is another reason why he can't keep fighting. But even if his ethics are very strog, where is he going to expose the corruption? newspapers are owned either by states, or their tails. Many journalists ended up blogging under false names... and this is not journalism any more. It is a cry for help.

Unfortunately even the Journalists in the Arab world , stopped writing about what is right and to denounce injustice and corruption , and started praising the leaders and becoming their spokesperson (ex the columnits of the Ahram paper , Al sharq al Awsat , Al Hayat )
the Journalist forgot his mission , and now cares about perks and the money that will fill his pockets .

The media in the Arab states treat all individuals regardless of age or level of education as children under custody.Such children are told what is good for them, and what the appropriate words to use.
You as an Arab journalist can't make a point contradicting the policies made by the state. Such policies are tailored for you by the state and compiled by someone else who knows what is best for you.
Such people might not be even educated enough to know what is good for the country, but they certainly know what is good for the businesses they are investing in. They all have links with other states, and they are willing to give up on the freedom of expression to keep their pockets breathing regularly with DOLLARS in and out. Their pockets are treated with the utmost care, exactly as one would protect his functioning lung.
The people, who work as guardians on the intellectual Arabs, are not better than those journalists deprived of their right to express their opinions. They might not share with them the same level of knowledge, but they all certainly share the urgent need to use the toilet at the end of the day.
